Rense points out this is the same pattern seen in 1986 by the Soviet government, the UN and US monitoring agencies, all over again. Some people think tofu is always tasteless. That’s not the case, as we show in this healthy and delicious recipe. Tofu Lettuce Wrap Recipe Ingredients 2 tsp. Canola Oil (divided into two parts) 2 tsp. Ginger 1 clove Fresh Garlic 4 oz. Extra Firm Tofu 1 Tbls. Low-Sodium Soy Sauce ½ cup Shitake Mushrooms ½ cup Carrots ½ cup Bean Sprouts ½ cup Scallions 1 tsp. Sesame Oil 4 ea. Boston Leaf Lettuce 2 Tbls. Peanuts 3 Tbls. Cilantro ½ tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Directions: 1. Toss tofu with half of the canola oil, garlic, ginger and half of the soy sauce. Roast at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes. 2. Heat the remaining oil in a sauté pan. Add carrots, mushrooms and sprouts and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly soft. Then add scallions and remaining soy sauce and sesame oil. 3. Mix tofu with cooked vegetables in a bowl. 4. My life changed for the better the day I learned I was diabetic, the day I finally started dealing with my binge eating disorder, though it didn’t feel that way then. No one ever forgets that day.
