Spicy Garlic Basil Oil for Dipping
Spicy Garlic Basil Oil for Dipping 10 cloves garlic, peeled 1 cup soybean oil 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar 1/3 cup basil, chopped 1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes Heat 1 cup soybean oil, red chili pepper flakes and garlic cloves over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely, about an hour. Transfer mixture to a food processor, add basil and blend until smooth. Tofu Lettuce Wrap Vegetarian & Vegan Recipe – Demonstration Kitchen
Some people think tofu is always tasteless. That’s not the case, as we show in this healthy and delicious recipe. Tofu Lettuce Wrap Recipe Ingredients 2 tsp. Canola Oil (divided into two parts) 2 tsp. Ginger 1 clove Fresh Garlic 4 oz. Extra Firm Tofu 1 Tbls. Low-Sodium Soy Sauce ½ cup Shitake Mushrooms ½ cup Carrots ½ cup Bean Sprouts ½ cup Scallions 1 tsp. Sesame Oil 4 ea. Boston Leaf Lettuce 2 Tbls. Peanuts 3 Tbls. Cilantro ½ tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Directions: 1. Toss tofu with half of the canola oil, garlic, ginger and half of the soy sauce. Roast at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes. 2. Heat the remaining oil in a sauté pan. Add carrots, mushrooms and sprouts and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly soft. Then add scallions and remaining soy sauce and sesame oil. 3. Mix tofu with cooked vegetables in a bowl. 4.
